Learning

Hadley is learning so much right now. We are working on identifying body parts and animal sounds and I love how she looks so intently at me when I'm talking to her. She is no longer interested in her "baby" toys and its all about babies, helping mommy and running around! She doesn't walk, she bounces. It's adorable.

 Where's your teeth?

 Talking and watching for visitors

Reading to her best friend, Kitten. Hadley loves putting all her babies on the bottom step and reading to them.

 Running

One of my favorite things that Hadley is doing now is her talking. Hadley literally talks all day long. There usually isn't a time where she isn't jabbering away at someone. Its obvious she thinks she's saying something and I can't wait until her babbles turn into real words! She will have a lot to say!

Here is a video of Hads reading her book to Kitten.

Hair

Hadley's hair is growing at an alarming pace and is all over the place. She is getting harder and harder to chase around to brush it, so some days we just smooth it, put a bow in and call it a day. She is still beautiful crazy hair and all!

And, last week Hadley turned 15, yes FIFTEEN months old. I can't believe it. I am loving seeing glimpses of her personality and she is still as sweet as ever.... except for a few times (a day)...

At our 15 month appointment, Dr. Terry asked if she was starting to throw tantrums...I guess I can check that milestone off now!

I'll write more about her 15 month updates soon!

The only cat allowed in our house....

The only cat allowed in our house is Hadley's favorite stuffed animal, Kitten.

Several months ago Hadley and I went to dinner with DeAnn and Donna (DeAnn and I have been friends since 1st grade and Donna is her mom!) and Donna brought Hadley this sweet Kitten. I started putting it in her crib with her since it matched and was so cute. Little did I know that this would become Hadley's most favorite possession! Yesterday I went to wake her up from her nap and she was cuddling with Kitten, and it was the sweetest thing.

Whenever she wakes up and I go get her she always has to bring Kitten with her. She carries Kitten around most of the day and Kitten goes in the car with us. (We will get a back-up ASAP!)

I was getting her dinner ready and I looked over and she had set up all her stuff on the window...

Giving Kitten a tour of the back yard

"We're busy mom, get out of here"

A quick hug

Needless to say, Maverick is concerned about having a cat in the house. So they had some words...

And, Maverick made is clear that she is in charge here.

Hadley also loves playing with her puppy...

Maverick had words with him too.

Morning at the Park

We've had a few good days of great weather and so Hadley and I have been going to the park a lot. One of my favorite things about our new neighborhood is the amazing park down the street. There are always kids there and its a beautiful walk to get there.

She loves the swing...

And she loves the slide! She climbed the stairs and went down the slide over and over again for about 30  minutes. Here is a quick video... (click the link if you can't see it!)

Nothing too exciting, but cute nonetheless!

The two sweetest Valentines!

Not many things will make Hadley as happy as laying in bed Saturday morning with Daddy's phone.

A glimpse into our future? She sat like this and chatted on her phone for a long time...

The girl never stops talking. I have no clue where she got this from...

Lots of Love

This week we had a Valentine's playgroup. We dressed up the babies and did a mini photo shoot at Alice's house. The weather was good and so the kids loved running around and the moms had a great time chasing them around and begging them to smile for a picture!

I love Valentine's Day and I love our little Valentine!

I think she looks so big in the picture!

More pictures to come soon!
