Updates

Derek hurt his knee on Sunday in a basketball game. He was in pretty bad shape so his dad and I went to the ER with him. The Johnson's have a family friend that is a orthopedic doctor that was able to get Derek in on Monday for an appointment and MRI and he had surgery this morning. Thank goodness for Dr. Ramsey. He tore the cartilage in his right knee and he is now resting in bed recovering. We are so thankful for Dr. Ramsey and that this didn't happen in November when our sweetpea is due! He should be back on his feet next week!

I also have found another new project for my summer! Late last night and early this morning Maverick was just begging to go outside and wouldn't come in. So this morning I went to investigate what was so exciting outside. To my surprise, under our Hydrangas, I found a sweet little bunny nest with about 4 NEWborn bunnies! I love all things babies so I am just loving them! I was a little worried about what Maverick would do to them so she is only going out supervised! Good news is that when I went outside earlier she was laying next to them nudging them with her little nose! Maybe this is a good sign on how she will act to the baby!

Look closely!

15 Weeks

How far along: 15 Weeks

Maternity Clothes: YES! I’m loving all of the fun maternity dresses! Maternity clothes are really cute so far! I’m sure in November I will be sick to death of them though!
Sleeping: Not great…waking up A LOT during the night!
Best Moment of the Week: Having an impromptu baby shower with my class at our class party. My room mom gave me a gift certificate to Babies R Us- so thoughtful!
Movement: Not yet, but really paying attention to it!
What I miss this week: Getting to play out with the kids at our end of year party- it was just too hot!
What I am looking forward to: The last day of school and getting the nursery started!
Weekly Wisdom: Drink lots of water
Milestones: The cashier at Kroger today asked if this was my first pregnancy! I guess strangers are starting to notice!!

I also started going to a chiropracter in my 14th week. I have some pretty bad mid back pains and so I went to get adjusted! Little did I know that they would start with a 30 min massage and insurance covers most of it! Hooray!

I have my scheduled 15 week appointment today and I'm excited to hear baby's heartbeat again! Heartbeat was a steady 149 bpm!
