10 Months

We are in the double digits. I only have 2 more months of baby and then we will be moving on to toddler years. Time does fly when you are having fun! She has changed so much this month and whenever our friends and family see her they all comment on how big she looks all of a sudden. Weare seeing her personality grow and I love getting little glimpses on what she will be like when she's big.

Sleep:  Still a great sleeper from 7:00 pm-8:00am. The wake up time is getting earlier and earlier each day and now when she is up she is UP. We lay in bed and watch one cartoon while she has breakfast and then she is on the move. She still takes 2 naps a day usually at 9:30 or 10 and at 2 or 3. Bed time starts at 6:30 and she really can't last much longer than that!

Eating: You have milk 4- 5 times a day and eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at 9, 12:30, and 5:45. For breakfast you have Cherrios, yogurt, we sometimes spilt a bagel or a whole wheat pancake, we tried scrambled eggs this week and you did not like it. Lunch is usually some type of pasta and blueberries or bananas and peas. I always try to have you eat some type of protein for dinner (meat or tofu) and your staples peas and blueberries/bananas. We will keep trying different veggies =)

Sizes: 6-9 month or 6-12 month clothes and size 3 diapers

Things you love: You are on a Sesame Street/ Elmo kick and I love it. We have a Halloween Elmo book that is by far your favorite toy in the world. I probably read you this book 50 times a day and you scream every single time. You love playing with your baby, you still love your paci and crawling all over the place and pulling up on everything. You will no longer play in your jumper or spinny toy. Mom and Dad are sad about that! You love being outside and you love looking in the mirror.

New things you do: When you get excited to scream and shake. Its the weirdest/cutest thing I've ever seen. I took this video in Target...

When she watches this video of herself she goes crazy.

I remember this time so vividly last year. I was finishing up the nursery, organizing the house and day dreaming about what she would look like and act like. I can't believe how fast this year is flying by and I'm so looking forward to watching her grow. Taking her picture is getting so difficult right now! I can't wait until I can say "smile" and she will actually follow directions! Hah.

Hadley also got her first 2 teeth this month! Hooray! The bottom two teeth came in at the exact same time and I think we are working on a top tooth.

Fussin' and showing off her toofers

Great Weekend

We had a great weekend. On Friday we went to Bob's with my parents and Mimi and Pa watched Hadley. Mimi dug out some of the old toys and Hadley was in Heaven.

A baby and an Elmo chair- life doesn't get much better than this!

Saturday we watched football and went to Derek's game at 5. I brought Hadley's dinner there and she loved her picnic dinner. She was squealing and had the time of her life eating outside! I can't wait for more picnics with Hads!

Saturday night Heidi, Steve and baby Austin came over for dinner. As soon as Hadley spotted him she crawled over to the MamaRoo and screamed so loud! She loves Austin!

"Who's in here..."

Sweet babies

After Hadley went to bed I had the best time snuggling this little one. Austin in the sweetest little boy and was smiling and talking up a storm. Its so weird digging out Hadley's old stuff for him to use when they're here. Major deja vu!

Sunday morning she woke up with quite the bed head! She loves watching out the front window and watching for visitors!

This is a popular spot in the house. Maverick and Hadley are going to have to fight over this window.

On The Go

We are having so much fun with Hadley. We are on the go a lot and she is getting a bigger personality every day. Here are a few things we've been up to:

Hadley is developing a preference to food lately and her favorite foods by far are blueberries and "macaroni and cheese". Its really just whole wheat macaroni noodles with a little cheese, purred sweet potato and purred broccoli. Caroline jokes that one day she's going to have real (blue box) mac and go crazy!

She feeds herself, but only about half of the noodles makes it in her mouth...

...the rest goes to a very hungry dog.  Look how pitiful Maverick looks waiting to eat Hadley's leftovers!

We've rooted on the Longhorns. Derek is ready to teach her how to hook 'em.

We've been playing a lot and learning how to stand.

We rooted on the Frisco Hurricanes- Derek coaches cousin Tyler's team with Uncle Tim. Go Canes!

Hadley got her first baby for Christmas, but its been up in her closet until this week. It was love at first sight.

This week for playgroup we went to an indoor play area called Safari Park. Hads was mesmerized with all the colors and toys.
 "Look Aunt Lizzy, here's Hadley"

 Emily, Laighton and Hadley chatting

Almost standing!

In awe

Pout face

Austin was the only boy there this week and Hadley loved patting him on the head. Heidi and I both said gentle probably 100 times!!

So sad to go home.

BUSY day

I think today was the busiest day in Hadley's short life! I started Mom to Mom at church and it was Hadley's first time in the nursery at CUMC. We had to be up at the church at 9:30 and when Hadley doesn't even get up until 8:30 our morning getting out of the house was crazy. I loved the group and I'm so excited to grow with our circle. Hadley loved playing with Austin and some new friends and crashed in the car on the way home.

When we got home she wouldn't fall back asleep so she ate lunch and played around and then we had to leave for the first day of our new music class at Kidville. We met a friend in the last semester and it was so sweet to see the little friends re-unite.

Again, she crashed in the car and we sped home to meet my friend  and her little boy, Dylan at our house. I'm watching Dylan for her next week while she's teaching. She never fell back asleep at home so we got back in the car to go to Target to check out the Missoni for Target line.

We walked down the toy aisle and there was an Elmo doll and I showed it to Hadley and she literally screamed out loud for 10 seconds. There was another mom on the aisle and was cracking up laughing- it was so SO funny. (Hadley loves Sesame Street, especially Elmo). I was so upset I wasn't recording her at the time.

It was love at first sight.

I did, however, film her at home when I showed it to her again. (Of course I bought it for her! But, I'm not going to give it to her until her birthday!) She was 10x more excited at the store, but this video is still pretty hilarious!

Needless to say with no real naps, we ate dinner early and went to bed pretty early. I'm excited for a low key day at home but really looking forward to our next busy Tuesday next week!
