Hadley's First Easter

We had a great first Easter with our little bunny. On Friday night we ate Lobster and King Crab Legs at my parents and it was a perfect spring night to spend outside.

Hadley in her travel  exersaucer- this will be great for the beach this summer!

On Saturday we went to dinner at the Gilmore's and had the annual lamb dinner. Caroline and I both forgot our cameras. Both girls were great and Hadley watched a little movie on Derek's iPad during dinner. She was silent and it was pretty hilarious!

Sunday, we put her in her sweet Easter dress and we went to the 10 am service. Hads did really good during the service and loved people watching and listening to all the songs. She was just smiling away at all the people that were looking at her. Such a ham!

Then we went to lunch and the Eutings. Jessica made a ham and all the fixings! One of my favorite meals of the year! Hadley watched another Baby Einstein during lunch and she was perfect again! After lunch the kids had their egg hunt and its hard to believe Hadley will join them next year! It feels like just yesterday the Euting kids were young. I found these pictures from Easter 2006.

Things have certainly changed in the last 5 years!

Abbey and Zoey are no longer the little girls I feel like they should be! They are two sweet young ladies that I know Hadley will look up to. They just love Hadley and are so sweet with her. They boys played blackjack outside while Mimi and the girls pampered Hadley. It was a perfect afternoon- we missed Jenny, Erik and the boys!

Sunday night we went to my parents for Ham meal number 2. The Easter bunny stopped by Nanny and Poppy's house and even left a present for me and Caroline! I hope Santa and the Easter bunny never stop leaving presents for us, hah.

It was a great weekend, exhausting but great! Hadley was perfect all weekend and is taking a 2.5 hour nap right now to catch up on sleep! Hope you had a great Easter weekend with loved ones!
